Deloatche Enterprises family member, Justin Brown, will be graduating from East Central University in Ada, OK on 12/15/2007.  Brown will be receiving a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Spanish.
 
Brown completed his eligibility at ECU in 2004 and was a consensus All-American at defensive end.  During the preseasons of 2005 and 2006, Brown was a member of the Indianapolis Colts.  During the spring of 2006 and 2007, respectively, he was a member of the Frankfurt Galaxy in NFLEurope.  The 2006 Galaxy squad won a World Bowl.
 
Brown is currently scheduled to play for the New Orleans Voodoo of the Arena Football League, during the 2008 league season.

Nick Hannah signed a two-year deal with the British Columbia Lions of the Canadian Football League.  The Lions are the CFL's defending champions.
 
Hannah, a product of Eastern Oregon University, has spent the last two preseasons as a member of the Indianapolis Colts.  During the spring of 2006, Hannah led NFLEurope in special teams tackles as a member of the Amsterdam Admirals.
 
Hannah, who was initially signed out of high school as a receiver, earned All-American honors as a linebacker at Eastern Oregon.


Offensive lineman Jon Rodriguez has signed a multi-year deal with the Dallas Desperados of the AFL. 

Rodriguez, an all-conference performer out of the University of Central Arkansas, spent the second half of the 2006 season on the practice roster of the San Jose Sabercats after going unselected in the April NFL Draft.

Rodriguez helped lead the Bears to a conference title and the quarterfinals of the NCAA Div. II playoffs during his senior campaign.


Khalid Naziruddin has signed a multi-year deal with the Tampa Bay Storm of the AFL.

Naziruddin, a two-year starter at CB, played collegiately at Texas Tech University.  Prior to attending Tech, Naziruddin was an all-conference performer at Howard Payne University.

While at Tech, Naziruddin had 149 tackles, 2 interceptions and 7 pass deflections.  During the 2004 season, he tied for the team lead with 83 tackles.  Naziruddin received several team awards and was selected as a team captain during his senior campaign.

At the conclusion of his senior year, Naziruddin played in the Hula Bowl and attended the 2006 Indinapolis Combine.  He attended mini-camp with the Detroit Lions.


Eric Houle has signed a one year deal with the New Orleans Voodoo of the AFL.

Last season as a member of the Las Vegas Gladiators, Houle scored 105 points on field goals and PATs.  Prior to the 2006 season in Vegas, Houle had spent the 2005 and 2004 seasons with the Rio Grande Valley Dorados of af2, where he was an all-league performer.

Houle played collegiately at Saginaw Valley State University.  He holds 15 school records, including the career record for points (354).  As a senior in 2003, Houle was an all-conference and all-region selection.
 


Record-setting quarterback Barrick Nealy has signed a two-year deal with the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League.
 
The 6'5", 230 lbs. signal-caller was named the 2005 Southland Conference Player of the Year while leading Texas State U. to the NCAA I-AA semi-finals.  Nealy finished his three-year career as Texas State's all-time career passing and total offense leader, throwing for 7,206 yards and 52 touchdowns and accumulated 8,933 yards of total offense during his career. 
 
Earlier in the year, Nealy played in the 2006 Hula Bowl.  He was signed as a free agent after the 2006 draft by the Minnesota Vikings.

Brown, a member of the Indianapolis Colts, was drafted by the Galaxy in the NFLEL allocation draft earlier this year.

Former Colorado State center, Albert Bimper, signed a 3-year free-agent deal with the Indianapolis Colts.

Bimper was a 4-year starter along the offensive line for the Rams.  Bimper has been in West Lafayette, Indiana, the past few months doing an internship as a strength and conditioning coach at Purdue University.  Bimper selected Indianapolis over St. Louis, Carolina and the New York Jets because the Colts best fit his skills.

"My height  (6'1") was an issue for a lot of teams, but I think the Colts' philosophy on the line really fits me," he said.  "They use smaller guys who can move around, so I should fit that system pretty well.  They didn't draft another center, so it's a good situation for me."

During his time as a Ram, Bimper was a two-time all-conference performer and a freshman All-American.


The Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League selected D'Wayne Taylor with the 7th pick of the 3rd round.

Taylor completed his third season in Canada with the Ottawa Renegades during the 2005 league year.  Ottawa suspended play for the 2006 league year.

Taylor was a starting linebacker in 17 of 18 games and tallied 59 defensive stops along with 2 sacks.  Taylor spent his first two seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Taylor played outside linebacker at New Mexico State University where he started 45 straight games and was a three-time all-conference selection.


Former Central Arkansas offensive lineman, Jason Russell, has signed a deal with the Austin Wranglers of the Arena Football League.

Russell spent the 2005 preseason with the Indianapolis Colts.

Russell was a three-year starter and an all-conference performer while in Conway, AR.


Eric Houle, PK, signed with the Las Vegas Gladiators of the Arena Football
League.

Houle has played the past two seasons with the Rio Grande Valley Dorados of
af2.  At the conclusion of the 2005 season, Houle was an all-af2 selection. 
He led af2 with 17 field-goal conversions.

Houle had a private workout with the Dallas Cowboys prior to the start of
the regular season.

Houle competed collegiately at Saginaw Valley State University where he was
all-conference and all-Northeast Region by Don Hansen's Football Gazette. 
Houle still holds numerous records at Saginaw Valley.


Justin Brown has been allocated to the Franfurt Galaxy.  Brown who recently
resigned with the Indianapolis Colts, was the second defensive end selected
overall in the NFL Europe allocation draft.

Brown spent the 2005 preseason with the Colts tallying 10 tackles and 1 sack
in 5 appearances.

Brown was an All-American defensive end at East Central University in Ada,
OK.
 


Linebacker D'Wayne Taylor has signed a 2-year deal with the Ottawa Renegades of the Canadian Football League.

Taylor spent the previous 2 years with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Taylor attended college at New Mexico State University where he was a 3-time all-conference performer.  Taylor set the school record by starting 45 consecutive games.  Taylor ended his career with 364 tackles including 40 for loss, 11 sacks and 5 interceptions.

Taylor attended Skyline High School in Oakland, CA.

 


 

New addition to "DE" family
The entire Deloatche Enterprises family would like to congratulate George and Shannon Hudson on the birth of their son, Val Alexander Hudson.  The couple was blessed on March 18, 2005.

George, currently is the starting center for the Ottawa Renegades of the CFL.  He has spent time previously with the Dallas Cowboys, Carolina Panthers and Edmonton Eskimos, respectively.  George played his college ball at New Mexico State University where he was an all conference performer.

Anthony Hines continued his ascent towards the NFL with his signing to join the Indianapolis Firebirds.

Hines completed an all-league season in 2003 with the Cape Fear Wildcats of af2.  After playing both sides of the ball for the first six games of the season, Hines was named the offensive specialist.  In 15 games, Hines recorded 114 receptions for 1,575 and 26 TDs.  Hines averaged 21.2 yards per kick/return with two for scores.  On the defensive side he tallied 16 tackles, 2 interceptions and 2 fumble recoveries.

During 2002 as a member of the Roanoke Steam of af2, Hines recorded 60 receptions for 776 yards and 6 TDs.

Hines attended Winston-Salem State University where he was an all-conference performer.

 


 

Tim Engelhardt resigned with the Arizona Rattlers for the 2004 season.  Engelhardt originally began the 2003 season with the Dallas Desperados prior to joining the Rattlers for the conclusion of the 2003 season.

Engelhardt originally signed with the Desperados in 2002, but prior to the beginning of training camp, he was signed as a free-agent by the Washington Redskins.  In 2000 and 2001, respectively, Engelhardt was a member of the Minnesota Vikings, who allocated him to NFL Europe in 2001, where he was named an all NFL Europe performer on the defensive line.

Engelhardt was a three-time all-conference performer at New Mexico State University where he totaled 130 tackles, including 25 tackles for loss and 11 sacks.

 


 

P.J. Winston, formerly of the Laredo Law (af2), has signed a two-year deal with the Austin Wranglers of the Arena Football League.

During the 2004 season with Laredo, Winston led the Law with 70 receptions for 1,139 yards and 17 TDs.  He also led the team with 1,920 all-purpose yards.

Winston played collegially at New Mexico State University where he was an all-Big West Conference performer.

Winston will be counted upon by the Wranglers to provide depth at receiver, defensive back and linebacker.

 


 

The Grand Rapids Rampage selected Anthony Hines, WR/DB, with the second pick in the Arena Football League dispersal draft.

During the 2004 season with the Indiana Firebirds, Hines led the team with 77 receptions for 1,060 yards and 20 TDs.  Hines was selected Player of the Game on two occasions including a season best performance on 04/03/04 vs. Colorado.  Hines tallied 13 receptions for 196 yards and 3 TDs.

Hines played in af2 with Cape Fear and Roanoke during the 2003 and 2002 campaigns, respectively.  During the 2003 season with Cape Fear, Hines set the af2 single game reception record with 19 for 222 yards and 6 TDs vs. Norfolk (07/19/03).

Hines was an all-conference performer at Winston-Salem State University.

Delvin Hughley was selected ninth overall by the Colorado Crush in the Arena Football dispersal draft.

During the 2004 campaign with the Indiana Firebirds, Hughley started all 16 games and led the team with 79 tackles.  He also tallied 16 pass break-ups and an interception.  Hughley was named Defensive player of the Game on two occasions.

During the 2003 season, he was a member of the Crush.  He started 15 of 16 games while tallying 71.5 tackles, 10 pass break-ups and one forced fumble.

Hughley was a member for the NFL's Denver Broncos and Baltimore Ravens during parts of the 2002 and 2001 seasons, respectively.

Hughley was a three-time all-conference pick while at Jacksonville State University.
